We will all remember 2021 as the year that special occasions were put on the back-burner. With so many horse racing racing events and weddings cancelled, there wasn't much on the calendar to celebrate throughout the year.
For me, personally it was time to regroup and experiment with new processes and designs. I also had the chance to look back on all the hats I've created over the years with fresh eyes and hone in on my design atheistic.
With 2022 ahead of us, who knows what the year will pan out to be, but I for one, hope we see many celebrations and happy occasions again. We need them!
Hats are always part of a sense of occasion. To celebrate life's special days and build memories that you can pass on to the next generation. Hats are all about living in the moment. The moment you wear the hat!
I've complied some of my favourite headwear images from the runways in Paris and beyond in 2021. From boater hats to fedoras, avant garde hats, to light tulle headpieces and silk headscarfs. I hope you all have a healthy, happy and productive 2022!.
