The Design
Inspired by the dramatic Bird of Paradise flower, the Strelitzia is a bold, sculptural headpiece handcrafted in Dublin, Ireland by milliner Noeleen. Built on a compact burnt orange sinamay base, this piece commands attention — rising to a spectacular 38cm total height with a sweeping burst of turquoise blue feather trim that echoes the vivid plumage of the Strelitzia flower. A turquoise blue birdcage veil sweeps gracefully over the eyes, adding a touch of vintage glamour to this striking statement piece.

The Craftsmanship
Artisan-made by Dublin milliner Noeleen, this piece is hand blocked on a traditional millinery block in Dublin, forming the structured burnt orange sinamay base. Sculptural sinamay and silk loops are hand-formed around the crown, and the handcrafted silk flowers are created using traditional French flower techniques, finished with a dramatic turquoise blue feather trim and a turquoise blue birdcage veil.

Secured with dark brown millinery elastic and a comb for extra security — designed to stay perfectly in place from the first race to the final toast.
